| April-June 2006 NewsletterDear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I would like to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and support for my ministry on both sides of the border.
YUMA, AZ (Services on Sundays at Sunday School - 10:00 a.m., Preaching 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.) You probably heard it on the radio, or read it in the newspaper - Yuma is ground zero when it comes to immigrant-smuggling. That's why it's so important to have a Spanish work here that reaches those souls. In May, President Bush visited this city and the city of San Luis, as both of them are pivotal examples of how important this area is to the hispanic influence in the whole country. Please continue your support and prayers so that we can reach those precious souls. We have had six people get baptized recently. Some of them are new Christians and others had been saved for a few months but hadn't taken the obedience step of baptism. They were baptized on April 9th when Pastor Scribner at Heritage Baptist Church was kind enough to allow us to use their baptistry. The newly baptized Christians are all coming faithfully - praise the Lord! Additionally, I've started a discipleship class, they are all learning and growing spiritually. It's a blessing to see them so eager to come to the discipleship classes which meet every Tuesday. On Resurrection Sunday, we had our first Lord's Supper, and those that got recently baptized could partake of it. It was a blessing to see them take part of it. We have others who have been saved but, have not surrendered to be baptized. Please pray that the Lord will work on their hearts. Especially pray for the rest of the Vargas family. Sister Rosalinda is the only one who is baptized and the rest of them need to follow her example. There are others that have started coming to the church; the Rodriguez family. They had been looking for a fundamental baptist church in Spanish for a few months and the Lord led them to our church. They seem to like it.
OUTREACH IN MEXICO LOS ALGODONES, B.C (Services at 3:00 p.m. on Sundays) - and SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, SON., MEXICO The work in Los Algodones is being blessed by the Lord, but it needs commitment from the people. Most of the people have not made the decision to get baptized and for that reason their spiritual growth has been hindered. I've been preaching about that subject and Lord willing, we will have baptisms soon. There is a new young man coming to church, Ignacio. He recenly got saved through our door-to-door evangelism and came to church the following Sunday. He seems sincere and it has been an encouragement to all the people in the church because we haven't seen new young men coming to the church; most of the time our visitors are women and children. As for visitors - we have had quite a lot but, they have not come back. Please continue praying for the Lord's Will regarding the building. We need our place but we are waiting on God. I have been offered help by a church that is not of like-faith and had to turn that down after praying about it. The offer seemed good at the beginning but it would've indeed opened the door for those people to try to influence the church's procedure. Please pray for the people over there. The three digit temperatures have arrived and some people only have a swamp cooler to protect from the heat. Some of them have infants in their families. Remember them. In San Luis Rios Colorado Mexico, I have been preaching with a new megaphone that the Lord provided. It is a 50 watt unit and it has been a blessing. It has twice the power of the other one I had! I have been using it in San Luis and Los Algodones and it makes a huge difference. People need to hear the message of salvation and this tool is a great help. There are not as many people on the streets because of the heat but I've been preaching close to the port of entry to USA where the line of cars is and hundreds of people can hear the message even with their windows rolled up. Please continue praying for a work in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico.
ANNOUNCEMENTS / PRAISES We have taken three more missionaries on for support and are now supporting five missionaries. We are praying for our first Mission's Conference (in Spanish), Lord willing, in November (the weekend after Thanksgiving Day). I am very excited about it and have asked the Spanish church to be praying and consider giving for that purpose. My goal is to double the amount of missionaries we support now, next year. We had the privilege to help one of our missionaries in Mexico by providing a van for his use in the ministry. A bigger van was donated to us and we traded that for another to give to our missionary (Pablo Sanchez). Also the Lord provided the means to have my car fixed and painted. The paint was falling apart and it had many things that needed to be fixed. Now it runs, and looks, a lot better! Praise the Lord! The Lord also provided the money I needed to visit with the dentist and have all the work that had to be done in my mouth. It cost me a fortune but, I thank God for his provision. During the months of April to June, 44 souls sent their information professing to have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior reading the electronic gospel tracts of my website www. interbiblia. com We have also our own website for the Spanish church running, but not finished yet. www. iglesiabautistaverdad. com I plan to add video lessons for discipleship and training for new preachers.
May God bless you and please continue praying for me. I appreciate your prayers and financial support.

| Newsletter from October 2005 to March 2006Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I would like to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and support for my ministry on both sides of the border. YUMA, AZ (Services on Sundays at Sunday School - 10:00 a.m., Preaching 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.) The Lord has been working and giving the increase in the Yuma church. We’ve had new visitors coming to church and it has been wonderful to see the church grow, little by little. I decided to concentrate my focus on the church in Yuma and establish the work here. It was my prayer that this church could support the rest of the missions. Since I made that decision I have seen the hand of the Lord moving amazingly. Five families have joined the church since last October; an average of one family, per month. The Gonzalez, Rojas, Marquez, Ochoas and Rosales are the five families that have joined the church. I have also been very busy discipling the new converts. The Lord has brought also a man that is a great help in the ministry, Bro. Miguel Gonzales. Bro. Gonzales used to be a pastor and has recently embraced fundamentalism. He is also a preacher and has helped me a few times preaching in my place when I have to travel. There are seven families that have joined the church in total, as well as four single people. We have also seen souls saved during our street preaching and door-to-door evangelism. Wehave started going door-to-door on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and we have seen the Lord’s hand working. Two people have come to the church as a result of this outreach. I asked the people in the church to pray for a piano and the Lord gave us one that same week we prayed. Then, I asked the people to pray for somebody to play it. The Rosales family showed up. They had visited in the past but, this time, they spoke to me about joining the church. Then, they mentioned that one of their daughters is learning how to play the piano and she might be the answer to our prayers. Praise the Lord! Please pray for our upcoming baptisms. There are many that need to get baptized and it’s my desire to have them baptized before Resurrection Sunday to have them partake of the Lord’s Supper. Weare supporting two missionaries at the moment. Our missionary budget has increased and we will be able to support three more missionaries soon. Weare very proud of our missionaries, they are doing a great job, for the glory of God. Ever since that Missions Conference in San Antonio, TX in February of last year, the Lord opened my eyes about supporting missionaries even when the church is just starting, and through that too, the Lord has blessed our church. I feel thrilled to see the people sharing my vision about supporting missionaries, it really blesses my soul.
OUTREACH IN MEXICO LOS ALGODONES, B.C (Services at 3:00 p.m. on Sundays) - and SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, SON., MÉXICO The Lord has been gracious and merciful and has blessed the work in Los Algodones. We have had up to one (1%) percent of the population of the town attending our church (50 people). I’ve invited the church in Yuma to go to Mexico a few times and hand out gospel tracts while I preach with my megaphone. It has been a tremendous blessing and has been an encouragement for all of them. Weneed another place to meet in Algodones. The Jimenez family has been very generous letting us use their house for free but, sadly some people won’t come because they simply don’t feel comfortable going to "somebody else’s house." We definitely need our own place. Please help me in praying about this. I covet your prayers on whether we should buy our own piece of land and start building. But anything we do must be done according to God’s will and timing. There is also a man that is a good candidate to become a pastor there as well. In March he visited the mission and I feel peace about him being the person to stay as a pastor in the future. I also need direction from the Lord regarding this matter and I would appreciate your prayers. Bro. Richard Zakrajsek has been a big blessing. He stayed in the area for a few months and helped me with making visits and being my door knocking partner, both in Mexico and in Yuma. I have been teaching him Spanish and he has been making great strides in this area. He is now able to read a gospel tract in Spanish and he has done it using the megaphone in Mexico several times when we went street preaching. Bro. Travis and Sister Tanya have been helping also a lot in Los Algodones (as Sunday School teachers) and the children have been growing spiritually. They have been memorizing the books of the Bible, verses and learning Bible stories. I also have continued preaching in San Luis, but not as often as I used to. Since the work in Yuma has grown, my time is very limited. I am sure that soon we will be able to start something with the help of the Spanish church. I have been thinking and praying about different projects on how to start a church in San Luis. Please help me to pray about this, too. I also had the privilege to help in a project to hand out CDs with Bible stories in Mexicali, Mexico. It was through Iglesia Bautista Esperanza in Mexicali. My friend, Jose Gutierrez, is the pastor there. Bro. Mark Ring and Comforting Mercies Ministries donated 5,000 CDs with Bible stories, very professionally done, for distribution. The people were very thankful and it was an outstanding experience to see how happy the people were who received the CDs. Wewent door-to-door and handed out those CDs that included the plan of salvation in the last tract of the CD. I am sure many souls will get saved out of these materials. I also would like to encourage you to support Bro. Ring. He can be reached at (559) 683-7028. He is also a Bible believer and works with, and under, the authority of local fundamental baptist churches.
ANNOUNCEMENTS / PRAISES I had the opportunity to go to the West Coast Blitz in Marysville, CA. It was a profound blessing to be able to minister onthe streets again in San Francisco, Sacramento and Marysville. Bible Baptist Church in Marysville were excellent hosts, as always. The preaching and instruction were great, too. This time, though, the people in San Francisco were very reluctant to receive the tracts. It took me two hours to hand out just 50 chick tracts. That should give you an idea on how hard it was. I thank the Lord for this church and Pastor Parker for having this blitz, and I hope they continue to do so. Sixty-seven (67) souls got saved from the electronic gospel tracts in my website http://www.interbiblia.com. I have been able to do some follow ups on some of them and they have been able to download helpful discipleship materials from my website. Since the Spanish church has grown, the church has planned to start giving me a salary. Lord willing they are planing to start in the month of April. Since the work has grown and my time to go on deputation has been reduced dramatically, this will be a great blessing for me. I apologize for not sending my newsletter from October to December of 2005. I am trying to include both this regular newsletter, as well as the events from October to December as well. I hope this won’t happen again and that I’ll be able to send my newsletter faithfully every three months as I normally do. Please feel free to call me anytime if you have any questions or if you have a prayer request. I’ll be glad to pray for you, my cellphone number and email address are included above. Thank you again for your continued prayers and support. May God bless you richly.

| July-September 2005 Newsletter
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I would like to
thank each and every one of you for your prayers and support for my
ministry on both sides of the border.
LOS ALGODONES, B.C.- MÉXICO (Services at 3:00pm on Sundays)
The church has grown and people are more faithful. During the first
week of July, I was not able to cross the border because my visa
expired. Bro. Pablo Sanchez preached in my place. Ten days after my
visa expired, I received a permit to travel so I was able to travel
back and forth to Mexico. There is a sweet spirit among the people
there. I feel blessed to be able to teach and preach to them what God
has given me. I’ve seen spiritual growth in many of them. Help me to
pray for wisdom regarding a future building for the church.
I know it’s too soon to think about a building program but, there is a
possibility to purchase and to start paying for a piece of land on
which to build at some stage in the future. Please pray with me for
direction. In my experience, I’ve noticed that churches grow more when
they meet in a neutral place.
YUMA, AZ (Services on Sundays at 10 am Sunday school, preaching 11am and 7pm and Wednesday 7pm)
By God's grace, during this past three months the Spanish ministry has
grown. We have seen souls saved and they have joined the church as
well. Sister Sulma Salinas and her five children are coming to church.
She and three of her children were saved and baptized, and are
attending faithfully. Sister Maria Uribe joined the church in July and
she is bringing three of her grandchildren to church. Eight souls were
saved during our door-to-door evangelism, as well. I’ve been preaching
in the park on Tuesdays and have been able to hand out many gospel
tracts in Spanish as well as English. Additionally, I’ve submitted an
application to preach in the county jail. Please pray that I the
application is approved as soon as possible. I know there is a big need
and I’m looking forward to being able to preach there.
SAN LUIS, R.C SONORA. – MÉXICO (Open air preaching and literature distribution mainly on Saturdays)
Pastor Pablo Sanchez from Mexicali, B.C. and some of the teenagers of
his church have been coming to help me pass out John and Romans along
with gospel tracts, while I preach in the park on Saturdays. It’s
encouraging to see young people serving the Lord. The people in the
park are very receptive. Until now the Lord has not opened the door to
start a work in this place. We don’t have the means to do it, but God
is faithful and we are trusting Him. There are some relatives of the
people that come to the Spanish church in Yuma that live in San Luis,
it might be that through them we can start a church in the future. We
are in need of John and Romans booklets. If you know where I can get
some, please contact me. Also we need some Spanish Reina-Valera Bibles.
If you have some, we need them for new converts and also for the jail
ministry.
PRAISES
I had the privilege of attending the Street Preachers Convention in New
York. Old Paths Bible Baptist Church in Rochester, NY had their annual
Street Preachers Convention and it was a blessing. We preached in
Rochester, Buffalo and Niagara Falls. I was able to lead a soul to
Christ in Buffalo. It was a tremendous experience to preach from a hot
air balloon in Niagara Falls, it was a great experience. God bless the
members of this church and Pastor Joe Cammilleri, it was a tremendous
convention. During this three months 38 souls got saved reading the
electronic tracts in my website www.interbiblia.com. It has been a
great evangelistic tool. Dear brethren thank you very much once more
for your prayers and
support. May God bless you.

| STREET PREACHERS CONVENTION IN NEW YORK
I had a great time preaching in NY last week. Old Paths Bible Baptist Church
in Rochester, NY had their annual Street Preachers Convention and it was a
blessing. It started on Wednesday the 10th with a service and on Thursday we
started our publick ministry.

On our way to attack!
ROCHESTER, NY (Thursday 10th of August) We ministered first in
the city of Rochester. It's a beautiful city. We started
singing as a group and after that we spread out and preached.
We
covered the whole downtown area. We handed out many gospel tracts
and
preached both with a sound system and, without it. I found a good
place to
preach below the bridge. In that location our voices seemed to
project as
if we were using a PA system. The overall reception was great and
we saw souls saved. One man came to church with us as a result of
the evangelism.
People were amazed on how we invaded the city. There were about
200 of us
handing out gospel tracts, holding banners and preaching open
air. It was a great time; a unique experience.

In downtown Rochester

Preaching and handing out gospel tracts

Bro. Knox preaching
BUFFALO, NY (Friday 11th of August) We arrived to Buffalo,
NY early and to our surprise it was raining. Pastor Cammilleri had
already made preparations with a huge canvas that we used to
protect us from the rain. We sang hymns and afterwards, started
preaching.
After the rain stopped, we spread out just like we did in
Rochester. We
preached and handed out gospel tracts and held our banners. When
handing out
tracts I met a man waiting for the bus who is a Spanish speaker.
I witnessed to him and he asked the Lord to save him. When I
left, he had a
smile on his face that I will never forget. His name is Eradio Sanchez
and
he is from Puerto Rico. I will be sending him a Bible, and two
books by
Bro. James Knox that will help him in his spiritual growth. Please have
Eradio in your prayers. I know there was a reason for me to make that
long
trip. I feel so happy serving the Lord!

Preaching in Buffalo, the rain couldn't stop us

Women in publick ministry, who said they can't?
NIAGARA FALLS, NY (Saturday 12th of August) The best day for me was in Niagara Falls. We preached as we did in the
other two places and since it's a tourist area, the opportunities to
minister were much greater. I witnessed to even Spanish speakers from
differents parts of Latin America and also one from Mexico. I was always
looking for Spanish speakers but also witnessed to many anglos, too. The
most exciting preaching time though, was when we got into a hot air balloon
and preached from it! It was something amazing! We had our megaphones and
as soon as we started going up we started preaching. People could hear us
even on the Canadian side. It was something extreme but, a fabulous
experience. We also had a romantic moment when Bro. Greg Davis (a brother
that also preaches in Colleges and Universities) got engaged when the
balloon go to the maximun height. It made us all sigh and when we got off
we were all clapping our hands and congratulating them. It was an original
way to propose, no doubt. After preaching from the balloon we tried to go to
Canada but the line of pedestrians was too long and it was already too late.
In addition, we had to go back to Rochester for the rest of the activities.
I preached from the bridge that divides Canada and USA, to the people that
were on the ships on the Genesee river.
The balloon that we preached from
Bro. Greg Davis preaching while going up, his fiance is on his left side.
Kids preaching, there is hope for the new generation.
It was an outstanding experience, praise God for the people of Old Paths
Bible Baptist Church. I thank all of them for their hospitality and
especially Bro. Charlie Barkowski and his family for all their kindnesses and
for both picking me up at the airport and dropping me off when I left.
May God bless your souls.

April-June 2005 Newsletter Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Greetings
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I would like to thank each and
every one of you for your prayers and support for my ministry on both
sides of the border.
LOS ALGODONES, B.C.- MÉXICO (Services at 3:00pm on Sundays) The
Lord has blessed the mission with new visitors. Some of our members who
had stopped coming to the mission, are now back with us. The
evangelistic outreach was blessed by the Lord; the visitation, door
knocking and open air preaching. Through the outreach, many people have
heard the gospel and have received evangelistic literature. The
attendance averaged 20 people during these three months. The hot
weather is here and the temperature has been up to 105 degrees during
the day, The Lord provided a swamp cooler, which is similar to an
air-conditioner, for us to use at the place we meet and it has been a
big blessing, especially to the elderly women. I had the privilege to
work with the brethren of Faith Baptist Church on May 28th. Pastor
Andrews brought a group of brethren from his church to help us on our
evangelistic outreach. We had a wonderful time. They handed out gospel
tracts while I preached with the megaphone. After that we went
door-to-door and we handed out about 1200 tracts. Four souls made a
profession of faith that day. Please have this new converts in your
prayers.
YUMA, AZ (Services on Sundays at 10 am Sunday school, preaching 11am and 7pm and Thursday 7pm) Praise
God we had been able to reach many souls. Bro. Richard Zakrajsek
arrived here in April and we were able so go door knocking 3- to
4-times a week. Through this, 19 souls received the Lord Jesus Christ
as their Lord and Saviour. I’m working on the discipleship of those
newly saved and to get them in church and baptized. One lady came to
church (sister Francis) as a result of the door-to-door evangelism. She
has been coming to church, praise the Lord! She has been the first
person to come to church because of our door-to-door evangelism, since
I’ve been here in Yuma.
SAN LUIS, R.C SONORA. – MÉXICO (Open air preaching and literature distribution mainly on Saturdays) I
was able to go to San Luis, Mexico, every Saturday to preach on the
streets and parks. Typically, I hand out John and Romans booklets
averaging a box of (300) every time I preach. I had the privilege to
lead a soul to Christ after preaching in the park. A teenager first
came up to Bro. Zakrajsek. Bro. Zakrajsek tried to talk with him but,
because of his limited spanish, he asked me to help. The teen asked me
“how can I know when I’m saved”? I explained to him what the Bible says
and right then, he gave his life to the Lord. After praying he said: “I
feel different.” I gave him a Bible and he was very happy when we left.
It doesn’t end there though. The next Saturday, as soon as we started
distributing the John and Roman booklets, he came and helped us hand
them out. It’s always a blessing to see souls saved but, even more to
see them doing something for the Lord. The name of this teenager is
Jacinto Reyes. Please pray for him, pray that the Lord will use him in
a mighty way and also for the San Luis Project.
ANNOUNCEMENTS / PRAISES I
praise the Lord for the souls saved. During these three months 49
people trusted the Lord through the electronic gospel tracts on the
website interbiblia.com. I’ve been sending discipleship materials via
the internet and have been able to refer some of them to sound
Independent Baptist Spanish churches that I know of in Mexico and USA.
I ask your prayers for the adjustment of status on my staying in USA.
May God bless each one of you.
Thanks again for our prayers and support. Your servant in Christ,
